Jon Mosby to head Ascot’s US Inland Marine portfolio

Ascot, the Bermudian-based specialty re/insurer, has appointed Jon Mosby as senior vice-president, head of Inland Marine.
Mr Mosby will be responsible for managing Ascot’s US Inland Marine portfolio and advancing the market strategy for this business.
He joins Ascot from Axa XL, where he was responsible for the growth and management of the company’s Northeast Inland Marine business. Mr Mosby has more than 15 years’ experience in the industry and has held positions at several leading carriers and brokers.
Joining Mr Mosby’s team is Dustin Jones, who becomes vice-president, Inland Marine. He most recently served as assistant vice-president at Axa XL and has more than 22 years in the risk management industry in underwriting and loss control.
