Eliot Partnership, the global insurance sector specialist executive search firm, has appointed Leah Dean as senior adviser, saying that the move reflects its commitment to the Bermuda marketplace.

Ms Dean is based on the island and will provide strategic advice to the global team, working closely with Lydia Pitts, senior partner and head of North America, to continue to build the business.

Eliot said Ms Dean works with clients in various industries across the globe to create HR and leadership strategies designed to build connected, inclusive teams that deliver results.

She previously worked in the re/insurance industry for more than 20 years in a variety of global and executive human resources and shared services roles, including as senior vice-president, head of group of human resources at RenaissanceRe, and vice-president, global generalist and director of human resources (Bermuda) at XL Group.

Ms Dean is the author of the book Assemble the Tribe and is the founder of a women’s leadership programme, Eliot said.
