Inver Re, the Bermudian-based global reinsurance broking arm of the Ardonagh Group, has made two key hires, according to reports.

The organisation has appointed Gareth Davies as chairman of parametrics and Tom Johansmeyer as its new global head of index products, according to the specialty website Reinsurance News.

Mr Davies joins from Price Forbes and Partners, another Ardonagh brand.

Mr Johansmeyer is to join next month from Verisk’s property claims service business, where he served as head.
