Beth Boucher has been appointed as an independent non-executive director at Hiscox Ltd, the Bermudian-based international specialist insurer.

The company said the appointment is subject to regulatory approval.

Ms Boucher has more than 25 years’ experience leading global teams and initiatives across multiple industries.

During her time at Fortium Partners, SiriusPoint, Travelers, Pfizer and Accenture, she amassed excellent credentials in cybersecurity, people management, transformation, and audit and regulatory operations, Hiscox said.

Ms Boucher is at present non-executive director, audit committee member and chairwoman of the nomination and remuneration committee at Coforge, the information technology services company.

She also recently served as non-executive director and chairwoman of the nominating and governance committee on the board of Omaha National.

Alongside her board activities, Ms Boucher is a partner at Fortium Partners and research fellow at Nemertes Research.
