Sompo appoints director for European unit

Sompo International, the Bermudian-based global provider of commercial and consumer property and casualty re/insurance, has appointed veteran industry executive Monica Cramér Manhem to its subsidiary board of directors for SI Insurance (Europe) SA.
She will serve as independent non-executive director.
Ms Cramér Manhem recently retired from SiriusPoint International, the largest reinsurance company in Scandinavia, where she served as chief executive.
She joined Sirius International in 1985 and was a director of the board between 2014 and 2022.
The company said Ms Cramér Manhem has broad expertise across underwriting, communications, analytics, strategic and regulatory topics.
