Axis Capital Holdings Limited, the Bermudian-based global specialty re/insurer, has appointed Raj Brar as head of international casualty MGA.

Mr Brar will be based in London and will be responsible for building and growing the casualty MGA line of business as well as continuing to lead the underwriting for construction MGA.

An Axis spokesman said: “This promotion and additional responsibilities are a recognition of Raj’s deep leadership and underwriting capabilities.”
