BMA confirms five insurance registrations in June

The Bermuda Monetary Authority confirmed five insurance registrations in June, boosting the yearly total to 37.
Six insurance applications were reviewed in June by the Insurance Assessment and Licensing Committee, comprising of five new applications and one carried forward application. All six applications were approved.
The BMA noted that the registration/licensing of approved insurance entities is issued after the IALC application process and may be confirmed in future periods.
The BMA approved two Restricted SPI insurers – Stabilitas Re Ltd and Mayflower Re Ltd – as well as Soteria Reinsurance Ltd in Class C, DNX Intermediaries (Bermuda) Limited in the Innovative Intermediary IB class, and AdVantage Capital Advisors Ltd as an agent.
