MSL Captive Solutions appoints Wagganer as senior underwriter
MSL Captive Solutions has appointed Andrew Wagganer as senior underwriter.
MSL is an independent, specialist underwriting and consulting services company formed by Strategic Risk Solutions two years ago to focus on the use of captives in medical stop-loss programmes.
The company has representation in Bermuda and all major captive domiciles in the United States.
MSL said Mr Wagganer will join the highly experienced team to provide additional resources for underwriting services with programme managers and brokers for new and existing medical stop-loss captive programmes.
He will report to the chief underwriting officer, Peter Parent.
Mr Parent said: “We’re excited to have Andrew join the MSL team. Andrew brings a wealth of knowledge and experience to our underwriting team.
“The value he provides to our MSL underwriting support structure will be refreshing and innovative.”
The company said: “As MSL Captive Solutions continues to grow to meet the needs of our clients, the need for a seasoned underwriter was apparent.
“Mr Wagganer is a great fit into the culture of the MSL Captive Solutions organisation. His experience, personal attributes and business professionalism lend him to be a key piece in the expansion of MSL Captive Solutions.”
Mr Wagganer said: “I’m thrilled to be joining MSL Captive Solutions as a senior underwriter. To be part of an underwriting team focusing on captive underwriting is a great opportunity for me in my career. And in this industry, there is no better place to be than MSL Captive Solutions.”
