Marsh McLennan said its ten-week internship programme had been a great success.

Over the course of the summer, college students Marcos Furr, Amir Thomas, Peter Silvester and Madison Smith learnt about insurance and reinsurance brokerage at the company’s Marsh and Guy Carpenter units.

Each student worked with a mentor from one of the group’s practices, including financial and professional liability, casualty, property and reinsurance.

”Marsh McLennan is committed to fostering the growth and development of young professionals in the insurance and reinsurance industries. Our summer internship programme is just one example of the company's dedication to nurturing local talent and preparing the next generation of industry leaders,“ said Christopher Reeves, chairman and CEO of Bowring Marsh Bermuda.
