PwC insurance summit speakers announced
A strong line-up of executives will participate in the The PwC Insurance Summit, presented with the Financial Times, at the Hamilton Princess & Beach Club on November 9.
Moderated by PwC Bermuda’s insurance leadership and prominent FT journalists Ian Smith and Robert Armstrong, the one-day in-person summit will delve into critical topics on the risk management agenda.
Keynote addresses will be delivered by Eric Andersen, president of Aon, and Juan Andrade, president and CEO of Everest Group.
Other speakers include: Orla Gregory, president of Enstar; Ann Haugh, CEO of Axis Re; Kevin J. O'Donnell, president and CEO of RenaissanceRe: and Mark Cloutier, executive chairman and group CEO of Aspen.
A discussion on climate risk will feature Kathleen Reardon, CEO, Hiscox Re and ILS, and Gino Smith, former head of property, EMEA and Latin America, Axis Re, together with other leaders.
It will be followed by a session on climate risk solutions led by George Thomas, board member of the Bermuda Business Development Agency, and Jeff Manson, head of global public sector partnership, RenaissanceRe.
The session will look at how the Bermuda market is harnessing its technical expertise and innovative track record to better mitigate climate risks and build resilience across the finance industry and wider global economy.
A panel that will delve into talent challenges in the industry features Chen Foley, SVP, chief claims officer, Arcadian Risk Capital; Ann Haugh, CEO, Axis Re; and Ivy Kusinga, founder, Career Vines and former chief culture and talent officer at Chubb.
