Jon Levenson has been appointed senior vice-president, Finance and Investor Relations at the Hamilton Insurance Group.

Mr Levenson will be based in the US as he leads the company’s investor relations and related finance functions, reporting to group CFO Craig Howie.

Mr Howie welcomed the new recruit to Hamilton: “He is highly respected and experienced in his field and has established solid industry relationships throughout his career. Having worked with Jon in the past, I know he will be a valuable addition to the Hamilton team.”

Mr Levenson brings significant experience to his role at Hamilton, most recently serving as SVP, head of Investor Relations at Everest Re Group, Ltd. Prior to Everest, he spent over a decade leading the investor relations and treasury functions at Validus Holdings, Ltd.
