Christine Patton, executive director of the Bermuda International Long Term Insurers and Reinsurers and executive adviser Curtis Dickinson, met state insurance commissioners, their staff and Biltir members during a visit to Orlando, Florida, for the 2023 National Association of Insurance Commissioners Fall National Meeting, which ended Monday.

Attendance at the NAIC meeting is part of Biltir’s ongoing advocacy and networking initiative to discuss the value of the Bermuda market to leaders within the life insurance and reinsurance industry.

Mr Dickinson commented: “Biltir’s attendance at these important industry gatherings reflects our commitment to constructively engaging insurance regulators and sharing how valuable the Bermuda market is to the international life insurance and reinsurance and annuity industry.”

“Biltir members were also able to meet the Bermuda Monetary Authority at the meeting to engage on Bermuda-impacted regulatory topics.”
