PartnerRe appoints Strasser as head of aviation

Bermudian-based PartnerRe has named William Strasser as head of aviation.
He succeeds Benjamin Weber, who is retiring early this year after 25 years with PartnerRe.
The company said Mr Strasser, who is based in Zurich, has held multiple senior positions since joining PartnerRe in 2003.
PartnerRe said Oliver Frase has been chosen to succeed Mr Strasser in the role of head of specialty property, engineering and downstream treaty.
