Everest appoints Bill Hazelton
Everest Insurance, the insurance division of Bermudian-based Everest Group Ltd, has appointed Bill Hazelton to head of US Retail Casualty in North America.
Mr Hazelton will be based in Everest’s Warren, New Jersey, headquarters and will report directly to Mike Mulray, president, Everest Insurance North America.
He replaces David Sandler, who will be leaving the company to pursue other opportunities.
Everest said Mr Hazelton will oversee the direction and strategy of its US Retail Casualty business, including the division’s Industry Practices segment.
He has more than three decades of extensive industry experience, most recently as head of North America Industry Practices at Chubb, where he spent the past 20 years in a variety of leadership roles across underwriting, claims and distribution.
