A former executive in the Bermuda insurance market has been added to the claims advisory board at Verisk, the global data analytics and technology provider.

Grace Hanson spent seven years in Bermuda, serving as global chief claims officer at Allied World Assurance, and SVP, head of Starr Excess Claims at AIG, before leaving the island in 2008.

Verisk said the board will advise its Claims Solutions on its innovation roadmap to ensure the company is enriching the claims ecosystem by continuing to streamline client workflows, improve claims management and support superior customer experiences.

Ms Hanson is joined on the advisory board by Eric Brandt, president, Second Horizon Solutions LLC; Darla Finchum, independent consultant and adviser; Ken Rosen, president and founder of Rosen Consulting Solutions LLC; and Mike Sieger, former claims president, Progressive Insurance.
