Tom Keist to join SRS Altitude in commercial role
Strategic Risk Solutions, the world’s largest independent insurance company manager, has appointed experienced industry leader Tom Keist as chief commercial officer of SRS Altitude, effective April 1.
In this role, the company said, Mr Keist would lead Altitude’s business development globally and drive key strategic initiatives to grow the business across all types of non-standard solutions.
“Having had the privilege of a long standing acquaintance with Tom, I have great admiration of his extensive knowledge and expertise”, said Brady Young, the chief executive of SRS.
“I am delighted to welcome him to our team, confident that his presence will significantly bolster our success."
Mr Keist, formerly of Swiss Re Corporate Solutions, has more than 25 years of global leadership and execution experience in P&C reinsurance across sales, underwriting and alternative risk transfer.
He said: “I am honoured and thrilled to join the SRS family.
"I am confident that my skills and passion align perfectly with the company's vision, and I am eager to be part of a team that values innovation, collaboration and excellence."
Altitude, which is set to begin operations in the first quarter of the year, is an independent entity under the SRS umbrella that specialises in alternative risk transfer solutions designed to address the increasingly complex risk management challenges and needs of corporate clients across industries.
SRS has operations in Bermuda, the United States, Canada, Europe, Barbados, the Cayman Islands, Latin America and South Africa.
