IGI promotes Stav Tsielepis to post as group chief actuary
Bermudian-domiciled International General Insurance has promoted Stav Tsielepis to the post of group chief actuary, with responsibility for capital, pricing, reserving and exposure management.
The company said Mr Tsielepis joined IGI in January 2022 as group chief risk officer and has also served as the interim group chief actuary since June 2023 following the sudden passing of chief actuary Stephen Rix.
The risk function is now being led by Donal Barrett.
“This transition marks an exciting chapter in my career, and I am grateful for the trust and support of the executive team at IGI,” said Mr Tsielepis.
“I am also incredibly proud of the amazing team I have the privilege of leading. Together we will continue to drive innovation, excellence, and strategic growth in our actuarial function.”
