KPMG in Bermuda and Frontier, an Artex company, are accepting applications for their annual scholarships, a cornerstone of KPMG’s Lift Off Programme.

The scholarships are for high-achieving Bermudian students pursuing undergraduate or postgraduate degrees in accounting and finance.

The KPMG Scholarship is valued at $30,000 per annum and the Frontier Scholarship at $15,000 for a duration of up to three years.

Successful candidates also receive full-time employment within KPMG’s graduate programme upon successful completion of their undergraduate or postgraduate degree, a paid summer internship, access to an in-house professional coach, and mentorship opportunities.

They can also participate in KPMG’s Global Advantage Programme, a four-day leadership initiative, hosted at select global KPMG offices overseas.

“We are thrilled to once again extend these distinguished scholarships to exceptional Bermudian students,” said Felicia Wilsen, chair of KPMG’s Lift Off Programme. “These scholarships not only provide critical financial support, but also serve as gateways to opportunities within our firm and the broader accounting profession.”

Frontier chief executive officer Derek Winch said supporting and empowering emerging Bermudian accounting talent continued to be a focus for KPMG, Frontier and the larger international business community.

“These scholarships catalyse tremendous growth. They enable recipients to access quality education, develop essential skills, and meaningfully contribute to the accounting profession in Bermuda and beyond,” he said.

Students are urged to submit their applications by April 30.
