Aegon Ltd, the international financial services holding company that has changed its legal seat to Bermuda, has appointed Duncan Russell as chief financial officer, effective September 1.
He will succeed Matt Rider, who is to retire but continue to serve as a member of the board of TransAmerica, the Aegon subsidiary, on a non-executive basis.
Mr Russell joined Aegon as chief transformation officer in 2020.
He said: “I am grateful for the opportunity to be the next CFO of Aegon. We have ambitious operational, strategic and financial goals and I am excited to continue working with my colleagues to deliver on them.”
