Bermudian-based Fidelis Insurance Group has promoted Nicole Kapu-Leyland to the post of deputy general counsel.

Janice Weidenborner, group chief legal officer, said: “Nicole’s promotion is not only a testament to her exceptional skills and in-depth knowledge of the law and industry, but also to her hard work and dedication.

“The deputy general counsel role is crucial to ensuring that our legal framework supports the company’s growth, while continuing to uphold the highest legal standards.”

Fidelis Insurance Group also announced the closing of its underwritten secondary public offering of nine million common shares by certain of its shareholders at a price to the public of $16 per common share.
