Axis appoints heads of Ocean Marine in the US

Bermudian-based Axis Capital Holdings Ltd has appointed Paul Boulos and Rob Ryan as heads of Ocean Marine in the United States.
Reporting to Michael McKenna, head of North America, Mr Boulos and Mr Ryan will be responsible for building a suite of Ocean Marine-related products into a comprehensive offering, aligned to the company’s ambition to be a leading specialty insurer.
These responsibilities include working with Frank Romeo who joined Axis in 2023 as US head of Cargo.
Most recently, Mr Boulos served as National Cargo product leader at Navigators, a brand of The Hartford, and Mr Ryan managed the New York Marine branch as vice-president at Navigators.
