Artex announces chairman and CEO appointments

Artex Risk Solutions has announced chief executive officer and cofounder Peter Mullen will be appointed chairman effective January 1.

Gallagher’s executive vice-president, Zeb Holt, will be named CEO (Designate) effective July 1, prior to succeeding Mullen as Artex CEO January 1, 2025.

Mr Mullen has consistently been rated among the world’s top captive professionals in a long and distinguished career, much of which has been spent in the Bermuda market.

Mr Holt began his insurance career as an intern with Gallagher in 2004.

During his tenure, he has held brokerage and sales leadership positions with Gallagher and Artex.

Most recently, he was Gallagher’s area president of South Florida, before moving into his current role in 2018 as regional EVP in Florida.
