Ascot Group appoints Michael Sevi

Ascot Group Ltd, the Bermudian-based global specialty insurance company, has announced that Michael Sevi has joined the firm as general counsel, reporting to group chief executive officer and president Jonathan Zaffino.
Additionally, Ascot reported that John Gill has been promoted to the position of US general counsel.
Mr Sevi was previously the general counsel and chief compliance officer at Guy Carpenter, Marsh McLennan's reinsurance brokerage.
He will lead a legal and compliance organisation, headed by Katy Wilson, general counsel, UK and Bermuda, and Mr Gill.
