Chubb Bermuda has welcomed three summer interns to its Chubb Select internship programme, which is in its 12th year.

This internship is provided to Bermuda university students pursuing a career in the international insurance industry.

The interns are Kiara Burcher, completing a BSc (Hons) in Mathematics & Computer Science at the University of Western Ontario in London; Alexis Lodge, completing a bachelor of commerce degree in finance and international business at Queen’s University in Kingston, Ontario; and Amir Thomas, completing a bachelor of arts in political science and government at Bates College in Lewiston, Maine.

“We are thrilled to welcome our remarkable 2024 cohort to the Chubb Select internship programme,” said Randolph Simons, SVP, Human Resources, Chubb Bermuda.

“The programme serves as a gateway for young Bermudians to gain invaluable experience and exposure to the international insurance industry.”

The three undergraduates are participating in a ten-week programme that began on June 3 and runs until August 9.

Working closely alongside professionals from Chubb Bermuda insurance, the company said, they are gaining valuable experience in all facets of Chubb Bermuda's business, including underwriting, claims, client support and operations.
