The Bermuda Monetary Authority confirmed the registration of two insurers in June, taking the yearly total to 26.

The island’s financial services regulator has also registered six intermediaries, including two in June.

The BMA last month registered Lincoln Pinehurst Reinsurance Company (Bermuda) Ltd in Class E, Acrisure Bermuda Ltd as a broker, Scenery Re Ltd in the Restricted SPI category, and Mt Logan Capital Management Ltd as an insurance manager.

Four insurance applications were reviewed in June by the Insurance Assessment and Licensing Committee, comprising three new applications and one carried forward. All were approved.

The BMA noted that the registration/licensing of approved insurance entities is issued after the IALC application process and may be confirmed in future periods.
