Michael Eberhardt appointed to top roles at Hannover Re

Michael Eberhardt has been appointed as managing director and chief underwriting officer of Hannover Re Bermuda.
Mr Eberhardt joined the company in 2006 in the structured reinsurance division of Hannover Re Advanced Solutions with geographical scope for Spain, Portugal, Latin America and the Caribbean.
He relocated to Sydney in 2012 and held the role as managing director for the company's Australian branch with CEO responsibility for the local entity.
A spokesman for the company said: "Under his leadership, Hannover Re has grown to become one of the market leaders in the ANZ region."
