Aspen Insurance Group, the Bermudian-based insurer and reinsurer, has appointed Paul Bradbrook as UK chief financial officer, pending regulatory approval.

The company said Mr Bradbrook has a wealth of experience from various senior finance roles within the industry, most recently as chief accounting officer at Bermudian-based R&Q Insurance Holdings.

Sarah Stanford, chief executive, UK, said: “Paul’s extensive expertise and leadership will greatly enhance our UK finance department.

“He will play a key role in boosting efficiencies within the team, and his appointment reinforces our commitment to robust financial controls.

“I am excited to welcome him to the team and to have his insights on the UK executive committee.”
