Oceanview Reinsurance Ltd, an Oceanview Holdings Ltd subsidiary, has made Stelian Dragan the new chief executive of its business in Bermuda.

Mr Dragan will oversee Oceanview Reinsurance’s operations with the goal of delivering innovative reinsurance solutions and strengthening its reputation as a trusted partner in the industry.

He has served as president and chief business development officer of the company since April 2022 and brings more than two decades of experience in reinsurance and financial services.

The company said Mr Dragan has a proven track record of building relationships and implementing transformative business strategies, with expertise in corporate development, strategic planning and capital markets.

Mr Dragan previously held leadership roles at Athene Life Re, Bear Stearns and Deutsche Bank Securities, where he honed his expertise in reinsurance solutions, strategic advisory and capital raising.
