Liberty Mutual Bermuda has partnered with Mailboxes Unlimited to deliver much needed school supplies to two local primary schools.

A spokesman for the insurance firm said Mailboxes Unlimited had waived all shipping fees to the island, allowing the initiative to stretch its budget further and enhance the impact of its contributions.

The collaboration was initiated after the schools provided a wish list of essential items, such as Play-Doh, headphones, first-aid kits, folders, art supplies and a laminating machine.

“This generous act of kindness has been met with heartfelt gratitude from the school principals,” Liberty Mutual said.

School heads Kennelyn Smith, of Victor Scott, and Wendell Smith, of West Pembroke, acknowledged the significant support and the positive impact this would have on their students and teachers, saying: “This partnership between Liberty Mutual Bermuda and Mailboxes Unlimited underscores the power of community collaboration in enriching the educational environment for local students.”
