Arch Insurance International has promoted Tim Watson to the post of credit underwriting manager.

In this role, Mr Watson is responsible for managing all credit-related underwriting activities across the team’s credit and political risk portfolio which spans non-payment, non-delivery cover and the full suite of political risk coverages.

Based in London, he reports to Ed Cornish, head of credit and political risk.

Most recently, Mr Watson was a senior credit and political risk underwriter, having joined Arch in 2021. Previously, he was a credit and political risk underwriter at Canopius.

He is chairman of the International Underwriting Association of London’s political risks committee.

Arch Insurance International is part of Bermudian-based Arch Capital Group Ltd and includes Arch Insurance UK and the P&C insurance operations of Arch Insurance (EU) dac, as well as Arch’s insurance operations in Bermuda, Europe, and Australia.
