Christa Schwimmer takes on new role at Munich Re

Christa Schwimmer has been appointed as chief executive for Munich Re’s specialty reinsurance and Lloyd’s and Bermuda business.
Ms Schwimmer has spent 23 years at Munich Re, most recently as senior executive manager, Lloyd’s and Bermuda.
Writing on LinkedIn, she said: “I am looking forward to leading the global marine, aviation, and contingency teams and agriculture for North America … positioning these diverse specialty business lines with our clients and further developing our proposition towards them.
“Additionally, I continue to lead the Lloyd’s and Bermuda business for Munich Re in this new role.”
