Bermuda makes presence felt at 2025 World Captive Forum
Bermuda’s captive insurance sector had a significant presence at the just-completed 2025 World Captive Forum in Orlando, Florida.
The Bermuda Captive Network said it hosted a booth on the trade show floor alongside more than 40 exhibitors, showcasing the jurisdiction’s advantages and the benefits of doing business with its world-class captive industry.
Representatives from Appleby, Aon, Butterfield, the Bermuda Monetary Authority, Davies Captive Management, KPMG in Bermuda, Liberty Mutual Captive Management, and SS&C Technologies also attended, actively networking with more than 400 attendees from the global captive market.
Additionally, Bermuda’s presence on the World Captive Forum agenda underscored the island’s leadership in the global captive insurance market, with several distinguished professionals contributing their expertise across key sessions.
Participating in sessions at the forum were Eduardo Fox of Appleby (Bermuda) Ltd, Tiffany Austin of the Bermuda Monetary Authority, and Nick Frost of Davies Captive Management.
Timae Flood, of the BMA, delivered an international regulatory update.
Thomas McMahon, past chairman of the Bermuda Captive Conference and executive vice-president at Davies Captive Management, said: “It’s great to see the Bermuda Captive Network exhibiting at WCF where we have an opportunity to promote the island as the premier captive jurisdiction and also our own Captive Conference in June 2025.”
