Axa XL appoints Ana Dores to Iberian leadership role

Bermudian-based Axa XL has appointed Ana Dores as country manager, Iberia, effective March 1, subject to regulatory approval.
The company said she will succeed Enrique Lopez Torrents who will be leaving Axa XL to pursue opportunities outside of Axa Group.
Ms Dores joined Axa XL in 2014 in Madrid. Most recently, she was serving as chief underwriting officer, international financial lines, for the APAC & Europe business unit.
She joined Axa XL’s leadership team advisory council in 2023, and was recognised the same year by Business Insurance as part of the Women to Watch EMEA Programme.
