Christmas celebrations at Christ Church in Warwick will feature a children's nativity play and the annual Christmas Cantata.

Tomorrow, the church choir will perform 'Come To The Manger'. This year's cantata tells the news of Jesus' birth through Christmas carols from around the world that describe the experience of the angels, shepherds and wise men who follow the star to Bethlehem.

Several guests will join the choir in presenting the musical including pianist Claire Butler.

The cantata ? 'Come To The Manger' ? will be presented as part of the morning service tomorrow, at 11.

On Christmas Eve the children of the church will share their version of the Christmas story in a musical with cast of about 25 children. Their play tells the story of a Mr. Kittner, who doesn't have time for the season and what it represents.

There will be two showings of the pageant 5 p.m. and 7 p.m. on Wednesday, December 24 in the church.
