His life revolved around his family and friends
James Corday of Newark, Delaware was called home to his Lord on July 25, 2007 in Christiana Hospital at the age of 74.
Born in Bermuda, he became an American citizen on May 5, 2005. Jim was once self-employed and worked several places as a small engine mechanic. For ten years, he was a courier for Newark Toyota World. When able, Jim enjoyed golf, bowling, boating and camping with his many friends. But, his life revolved around his family, friends and his dog.
"Bermuda Jim" was proud to be survived by his wife of 24 years, Charlotte DePrisco Corday; his son Robert Corday (Cindy); stepchildren, Sharon Condo (Richard), James Bonner (Kathy), Sandra Bonner, Sally Ann Lewis (Leland), and Charles Bonner (Lynn); his grandchildren, Alison, Brett and Cameron Corday, Nicole Andruzzi, Lauren Mumpower, Sara Bonner, Ashley Sabotta, Paige and Georgia Lewis, and Tommy and Heather Bonner. Not to be forgotten, his great grandchildren, Layla Sabotta and Braydon Andruzzi. He also leaves to cherish his memory, several family and friends in Bermuda, Canada, England and Florida.
A funeral service was due to be held on July 31, at St. Barnabas Episcopal Church, 2800 Duncan Road, Wilmington, Delaware.
