four Premier Division matches are played.

Before last night's fixture four teams shared seven points, as only three points separated the first six teams.

Newly promoted PHC have managed two wins and a draw from their opening three matches and lead the pack on goal difference. But they could drop down to mid-table if they fail to beat neighbours Southampton Rangers at Southampton Oval tomorrow. Rangers are second from bottom and without a point.

Defending champions Vasco were expected to struggle this season, having lost so many players, but they, too, are enjoying a good period and find themselves amongst the early pacesetters. They travel to St. David's to meet a Boulevard side who are also unbeaten after three games.

The other team on seven points, Devonshire Colts, have the best chance of victory when they take on bottom team St. David's at White Hill field. St.

David's will be without captain Chae Simmons who is serving a one-match ban, though last weekend's rest enabled them to sort out injuries that have plagued the team.

In the other match, North Village are at home to Dandy Town at Bernard Park.

Even though the teams are in mid-table it should be the top clash of the day.

Both teams advanced to the second round of the FA Cup last weekend, Village convincing 3-1 winners over Wolves while Town struggled to beat St. George's 2-0. Certainly Town players won't have any problems getting themselves pumped up for the short trip to Bernard Park.

In the lone First Division match, Social Club will meet division leaders Ireland Rangers in the opening match at Bernard Park. That match was postponed earlier this month following the death of Social Club player Dean Young.
