The Rt. Rev. Ewen Ratteray, Bishop of Bermuda, will officiate at the Induction of Rev. J. Anthony D. Roberts, B.D., A.K.C. while Archdeacon the Ven. Arnold Hollis will preside over the Institution into the Benefice.

Mr. Roberts was chosen over a year ago but his appointment was delayed for various reasons -- leaving St. Paul's without a full time rector for 18 months.

He received his early education in Lancashire and later studied at King's College, University of London where he received a Bachelor of Divinity degree.

After being ordained in 1966, he served in curacies in Manchester and Wiltshire before being appointed Chaplain to a Wiltshire grammar school.

In 1973, Rev. Roberts was commissioned into the British Army and joined the Royal Army Chaplains Department.

He served two years in Germany with the Life Guards and a further two years with a Junior Leaders Regiment in Dorset.

In recent years he has been a Vicar in charge of two parishes in Dorset and Lancashire.

All members of the public and St. Paul's congregation are invited to attend the service and the reception in the Peter Evans Memorial Hall, of the Christain Education Centre.
