Around the churches
TOMORROW
• Bright Temple AME Church: Reverend Charles A Smith and the members of Bright Temple AME Church family invite the public to join us at 10am for our annual Women’s Day celebrations. The Speaker is Evangelist Joan Simmons, a genuine “prayer warrior” and the leading force behind the National Day of Prayer. The theme for the day is “Women Dropping to Our Knees”. Scripture texts are: Philippians 2:6-14 and 1 John 5:14-15. Covid-19 guidelines will be in place. 28 Spring Hill Road, Warwick.
• Community Contact Ministries: Join us at South Shore Park, Warwick Long Bay. Our service begins at 8.45am when the speaker will be Pastor Gladstone Thompson. All are welcome. Follow us live on our Facebook page: Community Contact Ministries.
• St Mark’s Anglican Church: Join our peaceful worship service at 8am. This will be followed by our contemporary, all-ages worship service at 9.30am when we will be observing the 14th Sunday after Trinity. The theme will be “Meditation” and our guest preacher will be Reverend Terry Hassell. All are welcome. Children and other young people will join us for the first part of the service and then enjoy their own time together in the Hall. Come to St Mark’s, not just a church but a family! 53 South Road, Smith’s.
