RG Fantasy League champions receive prizes

Andrew Shaw was crowned RG Fantasy League winner for the 2023-24 season in the English Premier League with a presentation at The Royal Gazette offices yesterday.

Shaw, who managed Pav4thewin! for an overall score of 2,581 points, just beat out Padraig Mulry (Gangsters Allardyce) on 2,574 points and longtime leader Jaylen Martin (Haven’t Got a Kalou) on 2,565 points.

Shaw was presented with a $1,000 cheque by Gazette Editor Dexter Smith and plans to donate his winnings to the Eliza DoLittle Society and Meals On Wheels.

Mulry won $500 as runner-up and Martin, who was unavailable for the presentation, won $200.

The 2024-25 season begins on August 16
