Kevin Schade the perfect present for managers

Kevin Schade has hit the ground running for Brentford

The Premier League matches are coming thick and fast with RG Fantasy managers perhaps needing to introduce some new faces into their team.

Brentford forward Kevin Schade is coming into the form of his career, scoring four goals and adding two assists in his last three league outings, but it may be worth switching him in and out of the team given Brentford’s contrasting fortunes home and away.

Saturday

Arsenal v Everton (11am)

Arsenal have not scored from open play in 234 minutes in the Premier League, with their equaliser at Fulham last weekend coming from from a corner. Takehiro Tomiyasu and Ben White are out injured, while Gabriel Magalhaes, Oleksandr Zinchenko and Riccardo Calafiori are doubtful.

Everton’s home game against Merseyside rivals Liverpool was postponed last week as a result of safety concerns brought about by Storm Darragh. James Garner, Tim Iroegbunam and Youssef Chermiti are absent, while Michael Keane is doubtful with a minor knee injury.

Prediction: 2-0

Liverpool v Fulham (11am)

Liverpool continued their excellent run with another win in the Champions League in midweek but have Alexis Mac Allister suspended for this game. Connor Bradley, Ibrahima Konate and Konstantinos Tsimikas are injured, with Diogo Jota and Federico Chiesa doubtful.

Prediction: 1-1

Wolverhampton Wanderers v Ipswich Town (11am)

Ipswich midfielder Conor Chaplin opened the scoring last week with his first top-flight goal, but the Tractor Boys suffered home defeat to high-flying Bournemouth. Axel Tuanzebe, Chiedozie Ogbene and George Hirst are out this week.

Prediction: 2-1

Nottingham Forest v Aston Villa (1.30pm)

Nottingham Forest jumped into fifth place with a surprise away victory over Manchester United last week. Loanee Alex Moreno cannot play against his parent club, with Danilo and Ibrahim Sangare out injured.

Aston Villa nestle right under their Midlands rivals on goal difference, sauntering past a toothless Southampton side without conceding a shot on target last week. Jacob Ramsey is out with a hamstring injury, while Leon Bailey and Ollie Watkins are doubtful.

Prediction: 2-2

Sunday

Brighton & Hove Albion v Crystal Palace (10am)

Brighton are now on a three-game winless run after giving up a two-goal advantage to draw at Leicester. James Milner is out this week with a hamstring injury, while Adam Webster, Ferdi Kadioglu, Jack Hinshelwood, Solly March and Joel Veltman are doubtful.

Manchester United lost their second match under Ruben Amorim at home to Nottingham Forest last week. Luke Shaw is out with a muscle injury, while Victor Lindelof and Jonny Evans are doubtful.

Prediction: 2-2

Chelsea v Brentford (3pm)

Chelsea have won four straight league games and closed the gap with leaders Liverpool to four points. Pedro Neto is suspended after picking up five, while Reece James, Wesley Fofana and Omari Kellyman are out injured. Mykhailo Mudryk is doubtful with illness.

Brentford still have the best home record this campaign after the win over Newcastle and 40 goals have flown into the net at the Gtech stadium, more than any other ground. Rico Henry, Aaron Hickey, Joshua Dasilva and Gustavo Nunes are out, while Mathias Jensen and Vitaly Janelt are doubtful.

Prediction: 3-2

Southampton v Tottenham Hotspur (3pm)
