Bukayo Saka will be out action for a few weeks with hamstring injury

Mohamed Salah became the first player in Premier League history to score at least ten goals and provide ten assists in the league before Christmas during Liverpool’s victory at Spurs on Sunday.

Fantasy managers have some difficult choices in this round of games, as key asset Bukayo Saka is now out for several weeks after suffering a serious hamstring injury at the weekend.

James Maddison and Ismaila Sarr could be strong replacements for the Gunners winger. Don’t forget the deadline of Thursday at 7am Bermuda time for this coming round of games. Merry Christmas!

Boxing Day

Manchester City v Everton (8.30am)

Manchester City lost to Aston Villa and now have just one win in their last 12 games, falling 12 points behind leaders Liverpool. Ruben Dias, Rodri and Oscar Bobb are out injured, while Ederson, John Stones and Matheus Nunes are doubtful.

Everton stood firm to get a home draw with Chelsea, their third straight clean sheet. Ashley Young is suspended and James Garner and Tim Iroegbunam are out to back and foot injuries. Dwight McNeil is doubtful with a minor knee injury.

Prediction: 1-1

Bournemouth v Crystal Palace (11am)

Bournemouth got their second consecutive shutout league victory at Old Trafford on Sunday to climb to fifth at Christmas. Marcos Senesi, Julian Araujo, Alex Scott, Luis Sinisterra and Marcus Tavernier are out injured for the Cherries.

Crystal Palace had their five-game unbeaten run dashed by Arsenal. Matheus Franca and Adam Wharton remain out with groin injuries, while Franco Umeh-Chibueze, Chadi Riad and Eberechi Eze are doubtful.

Prediction: 2-0

Chelsea v Fulham (11am)

Chelsea suffered a blow to their title hopes with the draw at Everton. Mykhailo Mudryk is suspended and Reece James, Benoit Badiashile, Wesley Fofana and Omari Kellyman are out injured, while Romeo Lavia is doubtful with a minor hamstring injury.

Fulham have suffered just one defeat in their last nine league games despite the home draw with Southampton, their fifth in that period. Kenny Tete, Reiss Nelson and Harrison Reed are out to knee and hamstring injuries, while Emile Smith-Rowe, Sasa Lukic and Sander Berge are doubtful.

Prediction: 2-1

Newcastle United v Aston Villa (11am)

Newcastle have recorded consecutive 4-0 shutout wins to stay in the hunt after just one win in their previous five. Nick Pope, Emil Krafth, Jamaal Lascelles and Callum Wilson are out injured, while Sven Botman and Joelinton are doubtful.

Aston Villa destroyed Manchester City to climb above the champions. Jacob Ramsey is out with a hamstring injury, while Diego Carlos is doubtful.

Prediction: 1-2

Nottingham Forest v Tottenham Hotspur (11am)

Forest showed their strong away form in the shutout win at Brentford, who have the best home record. Nicolas Dominguez is suspended for picking up five yellow cards; Ibrahim Sangare is out with a hamstring injury, while Danilo is doubtful.

Tottenham were smashed at home by Liverpool, the fourth time they have conceded at least three goals this campaign. Guglielmo Vicario, Ben Davies, Cristian Romero, Micky van de Ven, Mikey Moore, Wilson Odobert and Richarlison are out.

Prediction: 2-1

Southampton v West Ham United (11am)

Southampton got a draw at Fulham, but are now eight points from safety. Maxwel Cornet cannot play against his parent club to league loan rules; Gavin Bazunu, Juan Larios Lopez and Ross Stewart are out to various injuries, while Will Smallbone is doubtful to a hamstring injury.

West Ham are unbeaten in three games and have pulled eight points clear of the bottom three. Lucas Paqueta is suspended, while Michail Antonio is out with a long-term leg injury.

Prediction: 0-2

Wolverhampton Wanderers v Manchester United (1.30pm)

Wolves dismantled Leicester to stay in the hunt for survival and move within two points of safety. Yerson Mosquera, Boubacar Traore, Enso Gonzalez, Pablo Sarabia and Sasa Kalajdzic are injured, while Mario Lemina is doubtful.

Manchester United were destroyed at home by Bournemouth for the second consecutive year. Luke Shaw and Mason Mount are out to muscle injuries, while Victor Lindelof and Matthijs De Ligt are doubtful.

Prediction: 0-2

Liverpool v Leicester City (4pm)

Liverpool pulled four points clear of Chelsea and six of Arsenal with the thumping away win over Tottenham. Conor Bradley and Ibrahima Konate are out to hamstring and knee injuries.

Leicester are struggling after being beaten at home by closest rivals Wolves. Ricardo Pereira, Wilfried Ndidi and Abdul Fatawu are out to hamstring and knee injuries, while Mads Hermansen and Jakub Stolarczyk are doubtful.

Prediction: 3-1

Friday, December 27

Brighton & Hove Albion v Brentford (3.30pm)

Brighton have just two wins in nine games to slip to mid-table following the draw at West Ham. Ferdi Kadioglu, Jack Hinshelwood, James Milner, Danny Welbeck, Adam Webster, Solly March and Mats Wieffer are doubtful to injury and lack of fitness.

Brentford suffered their first home loss of the season over Forest last time out. Rico Henry, Aaron Hickey, Josh Dasilva, Mathias Jensen and Gustavo Nunes are out to injury and lack of fitness, while Ethan Pinnock, Sepp van den Berg, Igor Thiago, Kristoffer Ajer and Mads Roerslev are doubtful.

Prediction: 2-2

Arsenal v Ipswich Town (4.15pm)

Arsenal kept themselves in the title picture with their dominant win at Crystal Palace. Takehiro Tomiyasu, Ben White, Bukayo Saka and Raheem Sterling are out, while Oleksandr Zinchenko is doubtful to lack of fitness.

Ipswich lost heavily to Newcastle to remain in the bottom three. Sam Morsy is suspended, while Axel Tuanzebe, Chiedozie Ogbene and George Hirst are out injured.

Prediction: 2-0
