An Under-16 Bermuda rugby team have travelled to Ontario, Canada to begin a series of matches.Trinity College, attended by 11 Bermudian students, have organised a mini-tournament involving the Island squad and teams from two local high schools, St. Mary’s Secondaryl and Cobourg District Collegiate Institute East.Matches are planned for today and tomorrow.Bermuda’s team will take to the field for two 40-minute matches tomorrow. Then, a 60-minute match for Bermuda and TCS is scheduled for Saturday morning.According to a press release from Trinity, “students from Bermuda first ventured to TCS in the late 1800’s and this rugby tour builds upon this great tradition and complements the terrific relationship that continues to this day.”
