Bermuda have sent a men’s and women’s national team to compete in the Caribbean Rugby Sevens Championships in Cayman Islands this weekend.

The championships are the first round of the Rio 2016 Olympic qualifiers, where rugby sevens will make its Summer Games bow.

The top two teams in the men’s and women’s divisions will advance to the next stage of qualifiers.

Bermuda men’s seven’s squad: Andre Landy, Richard Cumbers, Daniel Cole, Tashon DeSilva, Keyanho Bean, Tommy Edwards, Henry Paddison, Tom Healy, Gareth Williams, Darren Richardson, Josh Deallie, Corey Boyce.

Bermuda women’s sevens’s squad: Kelli Nusum, Erica McArthur, Deneka Borden, Mika Nusum, Jilliana Smith, Anthi Xipolia, Amanda Swan, Karly Alleyne, Jessica Gilbert, Caroline Aberhart
