Boats in the Tall Ships Atlantic Challenge are progressing well towards Tenerife in excellent conditions, race organisers said.
With winds at 20 knots, Kruzenshtern (Russia) was in the lead overall on Monday on corrected time in the group made up of both Classes A and B.
Tecla (Netherlands) was second, and Jolie Brise (UK) third.
The 7,000 mile race, which began in Vigo, Spain, at the weekend, includes a stop in Bermuda next month for a five-day festival as part of the Island's 400th anniversary celebrations. The fleet includes the Island's Spirit of Bermuda.
