Ceci Wollmann was the top Bermuda sailor at the USODA National Championships hosted by the Houston Yacht Club last weekend.Wollmann finished in 25th place followed by her brother Mikey in 44th position, while Chase Cooper came 64th. All sailors compete for the Bermuda Optimist Dinghy Association.The fleet of 210 sailors were divided into Gold, Silver and Bronze fleets following the 6th race of the event, with all 3 locals qualifying for the Gold Fleet.Overall winner of the event was Leonard Takahashi-Fry from New Zealand. The next major event is the New England Championships which will be sailed in Marion, Massachusetts, at the weekend.
