Alec Cutler and his Hedgehog crew finished fourteenth out of 15 teams at the Melges 32 Gold Cup regatta at Miami Beach Marina, Florida, at the weekend.

Hosted by Coconut Grove Sailing Club, Culter, the Royal Bermuda Yacht Club skipper, had finishes of fifteenth, twelfth, eighth, thirteenth and twelfth in his five race.

Cutler and Hedghog finished with 60 points. The final day of the competition was cancelled because of no wind.

Pierre Casiraghi, of Switzerland, and his Robertissima team were crowned champions, with Italy’s Alessandro Rombelli’s STIG finishing second and Japan’s Keisuke Suzuki and his Swing crew taking third.
