SailGP announce expanded Season Four schedule
The fourth instalment of SailGP will feature a record twelve events taking place on four continents from June to July of 2024, organisers have announced.
“The fact that we are again expanding our season from 11 to 12 events, and now have many multiyear agreements in place, shows the continued demand to host events and the strong momentum the league continues to experience,” Andy Thompson, the SailGP managing director, said.
“The impressive array of global locations and wide range of event title partners – with more to be announced soon – is great news for our passionate fans and partners alike and is further evidence of the growth and appeal our sport has on a global scale.
“It is amazing to see how far we have come since our inaugural Season launched in 2019 with just five events.”
The new season kicks off with the Rolex United States Sail Grand Prix in Chicago June 16 and 17 to be followed by the inaugural United States Sail Grand Prix Los in Angeles California July 22 and 23.

After a two-month break, the season resumes with the United Arab Emirates Sail Grand Prix taking place January 13 and 14, 2024 at a location to be announced next month.
From there the global series heads Down Under for the KPMG Australia Sail Grand Prix to be held in Sydney February 24 and 25 with the ITM New Zealand Sail Grand Prix to follow in Auckland March 23 and 24.
The championship will then make its third appearance here when the island hosts the Bermuda Sail Grand Prix taking place May 4 and 5 followed by the inaugural Canada Sail Grand Prix taking place June 1 and 2 at a venue also to be announced next month.
