USC Hall of Fame honour for Sharrieff

Former Hamilton Parish coach Kari Sharrieff has been recognised for his goalscoring prowess in college after being –inducted into the USC Upstate Athletics Hall of Fame.The ex-Wolves and North Village striker, who now works at HSBC Bank of Bermuda as a business product manager, was a star striker for the Rifles between 1997 and 1999 and finished with a school record of 60 goals.As a freshman in 1997, Sharieff was awarded the first of consecutive All-America citations by the Division II National Soccer Coaches Association of America (NSCAA).He was also named on the Umbro Division II All-South team and was a First Team All-Peach Belt selection.
