Valley stage dramatic comeback against Onions

MR Onions 6Valley FC 6Phil Anderson and Niall Baillie both scored hat-tricks but couldn’t stop their side from sharing the spoils with Valley.Onions were 4-1 up at half-time but Valley made a remarkable comeback in the last 20 minutes to score four times and leave the scores.Peter Sampson scored twice for Valley who also got goals from Keimon Lawrence, Authur Tucker, Anthony Webb and Dion Woolridge to seal the dramatic comeback.Vasco 1Tuff Dogs 0Table-toppers Vasco saw off a spirited Tuff Dogs side.Rui Furtado scored the only goal of the game midway through the first half after Dogs’ Kenny Outerbridge had sailed a penalty over the top.Robin 2Team Fire 1Robin Hood edged out Fire Service to grab all three points.Fire Service took the lead when Mark Ray slipped his defender on the right wing and laid a perfect pass to Justin Robinson who shot firmly home from ten yards out.Hood fought back, creating several good chances and their pressure paid off when they equalised shortly before half-time with Victor Richards taking advantage of a mix up in the Fire Service defence and slotting the ball home to put the sides level at half-time.The second half continued where the first left off with both teams playing attractive football and creating chances.Hood substitute Ray Butterfield, who had only been on the field for a short time, scored what proved to be the match winner with a shot from 25 yards out that slipped through the keeper’s hands.North Village 2West End United 3West End United got three goals from three different players as they beat North Village.Martel Laws, Eugene Simmons and Matthew Carvelho all scored for the winners, while James Roach and Taffari Outerbridge were on target in a losing effort for Village.BAA 2Lock ‘N’ Key 4Lock ‘N’ Key defeated BAA to get a hard fought win.BAA opened up the scoring early through Peter Coleman but Quinton Basden equalised for Key shortly after.A free kick from 35 yards by Shae Smith gave the BAA ‘keepno chance with his equaliser for Key. Curtis Grant made the score 3-1 as he beat his defender and scored in the far right corner of the goal, but BAA responded with a penalty that was converted by Adam Shaw.Gladstone Stovell sealed the win for Key with a volley that the keeper got a hand to the ball but could not palm it away from danger.Lobster Pot 1St. David’s 1St. David’s and Lobster Pot split the points in their match.Loren Marshall put the Islanders ahead from the penalty spot before Helder Rocha neatly finished for Pot to leave honours even.
