Hall earns praise from Town boss

Freddie Hall: 'A great attitude', according to Northampton boss, Garry Johnson

Northampton Town manager Gary Johnson has described Freddy Hall as having a “fantastic leap” and a “great attitude” and believes the Bermuda shot-stopper will get better and better. The 26-year-old signed for the English League Two side yesterday on a one-year-contract after impressing the club’s coaches in pre-season training.“Freddy came in soon after I arrived and has been training with us for a few months,” Johnson told the Town website.“He is a former Bermuda international and we are fortunate that he came to the UK because his sister lives in Northampton. We got him in and he has been training with us ever since.“He has impressed Tim Flowers who has worked with him on a daily basis. He has improved an awful lot in the time he has been with us and has consistently got better and better.“Freddy has a tremendous leap on him and a fantastic attitude. He is a good personality to have in the dressing room and I know he will work hard to compete for a first team place.”Hall, who played for Bermuda Hogges last summer, was mentored and coached by Shaka Hislop at Quinnipiac University and is a former Plymouth Argyle trialist.
